This is Lovelace Morganu Except for the distracting and growing tumors, she’s the perfect picture of a bubbly , 4 1/2-year old angel. She and her family live in the Volta Region of Ghana. |

In November, 2009, Dr. Paul K. King, founder of the Metro Atlanta Neurosurgery Foundation (MANF) went on a medical mission to Ghana and joined the Korle Bu Neuroscience Foundation medical team to treat patients at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. It was there he met 4 year-old Lovelace. After examining her, Dr. King and others determined her surgery was too difficult to be performed in Ghana. Arrangements were made for her to come to the United States, where the doctors hoped she would undergo multiple surgeries at Johns Hopkins Hospital, in Baltimore, MD. | ||||

Dr. King, Adopt A Village, MANF and the Lovelace family appreciate all the prayers and financial support extended to young Lovelace Morganu. She will require ongoing medication and medical treatment in Ghana. |
